This page is all about local music!

There are a bunch of great musicians in the northern suburbs of the Illawarra. This page is dedicated to them.

Have a listen to their music.

Below are a number of music videos which you can watch to get some idea of the talent that surrounds us.

THE LEISURE COASTERS

Without a doubt the best reggae band in the northern Illawrra, these guys have been playing for years and have created a unique sound. Their songs are about things that matter with a great dance beat. Learn more about The Leisure Coasters at their My Space page.

BRETT HUNT

OK, technically Brett isn't a local musician, but he was born in Bega, which is like a cousin of the Illawarra, and he lived here for a number of years AND these videos were recorded at an Illawarra hotel. He's also very talented. We hope you like these two songs, NorthWest Wind and Rachel.

MIGNON LEE WARDEN

Mignon Lee Warden released her first CD with a bunch of beautiful original songs she wrote. 'The Swing to the Right' is a song about racism, and Dancing With The Distance' is about long-distance relationships.
